Glen Park - It's kinda like a village

Would you guess, one of the best pizzas in the San Francisco Bay Area is in Glen Park - at Gialinas Pizzeria.   Though, restaurateur, Mario Batalli would disagree, and send you to Pizzario Picco in Marin.  But be assured, among a few other gastronomic gems in this small village-like 'hood, Gialina's pizza makes a trip to this outer SF neighborhoods, well worth the trip. 

For outdoor enthusiasts and dog owners, Glen Canyon Park offers hiking trails, open space, and wild critter spottings. 

Commuters may find this neighborhood a dream; Bart shuttles you from Glen Park to Downtown SF, or SFO in 10 to 20 minutes, respectively.  As well, easy access to 101 and 280 makes it a Peninsula/South Bay commuter's dream.
