Bernal Heights




Bernal feels a bit like a New England seaside village, with no sea.  Smaller scale victorian-esque homes and narrow hilly streets are reminiscent of Newport, RI and certain islands off Cape Cod.  You can feel tucked in, or out on the ledge here in Bernal, depending on the location of your home.  Views of the Bay, Downtown, and the South Bay, stretch wide from this southern city hilltop. 

Cortland, a bustling commercial street by day, turns into a sleepier version of itelf at night, after dinner, when just a few great local bars keep hopping.  People with children and dogs can enjoy numerous parks and the entire hilltop after which the area is named - Bernal Heights.
